The 2021 NASCAR Peak Mexico Series champion made the move to the open-wheel world in 2022 to run a full season of USF Pro 2000 (formally known as Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires) where he gained two wins, one pole, four podiums, and six top-five finishes, finishing eighth in the championship. While racing in the USF Pro Championships Presented by Cooper Tires season (formally known as the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires), de Alba continued to run the NASCAR Mexico Series, finishing fifth in the championship with one win, five top-fives, and 10 top-10s. Salvador will run the #91 Archandel, Red Cola Tatuus IP-22 with his additional sponsor of Z Motors. The 23-year-old proved in 2022 that he could fight for a win at every event and working with EA\u2019s experienced engineers, he is poised to fight for more wins again this season.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cFirst of all, I\u2019m thrilled to continue racing in the USA,\u201d de Alba enthused. \u201cI am thankful that I have sponsors that believe in this project.
