Canadian Mac Clark advances to second in the championship standings<\/strong><\/p>\n

ELKHART LAKE, WI (June 22, 2025) \u2013 Exclusive Autosport returned to the 4.014-mile, 14-turn road course at the stunning Road America this past weekend for a USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire tripleheader at \u2018America\u2019s National Park of Speed\u2019. Canadian Mac Clark led the EA squad with three podium finishes marked by a pair of runner-up results, while Joey Brienza delivered his best overall performances of the season with a sixth in Race 1, part of two top-10s on the weekend. Carson Etter enjoyed his best qualifying positions of the season and showed markedly improved pace, however, luck was not on his side, preventing him from achieving the deserved results.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cLots of positives came out of this weekend at Road America,\u201d said Michael Duncalfe, Co-Owner and CEO. \u201cMac did a fantastic job delivering three very consistent podium performances. He is knocking on the door of the elusive win in USF Pro 2000. Carson and Joey had some of their best performances of the season thus far. They continue to make strides in development. We are going to keep pushing hard to get all of our drivers on the podium. A massive thank you to our crew for all of their efforts in the shop and at the track, preparing incredible cars for our drivers.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The weekend kicked off on Thursday with two 45-minute test sessions, during which all three drivers showed great pace throughout the day, proving that they were ready to take on official practice and their first qualifying session the next morning. In the warm temperatures on Friday morning, EA\u2019s drivers took to the track for official practice before qualifying for Race 1. The day would conclude with Qualifying 2, setting the lineup for Race 2 and provisionally for Race 3. Clark led the team with qualifying runs of fourth and second for the first two races of the tripleheader. Brienza qualified in the top 10 for the first two races (9th<\/sup> \/ 8th<\/sup>) while Etter timed in 12th<\/sup> and 14th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Saturday started bright and early in very warm morning temperatures, which were consistent with the forecast for the weekend. In usual Mac Clack fashion, he immediately went on the attack and, by turn 1, had moved himself up to third. The push forward continued all race, which went green to checker with no issues. Clark eventually worked his way to second and locked down that spot to the finish. Both Brienza and Etter had fantastic starts, both moving forward right away. Brienza went on to grab his best finish of the season in sixth place, coming out of a spirited race-long battle with several drivers. Etter quickly settled into the fight for 11th,<\/sup> but he spun in turn 5 on lap 2 when the driver ahead of him went off-track. He continued and finished 15th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Race 2 took place later in the afternoon. Amidst a chaotic start, Clark found himself back in the fourth position early in the contest. Mac continued to push all race, dicing it up with the lead group, moving himself up to third, where he would finish as the field eventually separated itself. At the green flag, Brienza and Etter were mixing it up with some serious competition, both fighting for top-10 finishes. Brienza came out of that battle to finish 10th<\/sup>. Unfortunately for Carson, a minor error in Turn 6 while running 12th<\/sup> resulted in an off-track excursion that allowed three cars to slip through. He finished 14th<\/sup> in the final results.<\/p>\n

Sunday morning was forecast to be the hottest day of the weekend, but the early morning Race 3 took advantage of slightly cooler temperatures. Clark started on the outside of Row 1 once again and fought all race with the top-three, just narrowly missing out on his first win of the 2025 season, finishing second. After two podium finishes on Saturday, Mac added yet another to his record. This incredible weekend performance made it six podiums in the last seven races, advancing him to sole possession of second in the driver standings. This wasn\u2019t quite the race that Brienza and Etter were looking for, but they continued to fight every lap, finishing 12th<\/sup> and 15th<\/sup>, respectively.<\/p>\n

The EA squad will now head to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on July 4-6 for a packed weekend running with all three rungs of the USF Pro Championships ladder, featuring all eight team drivers.<\/p>\n
