Canadian Mac Clark continues to lead the EA Squad with a third-place finish at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course<\/strong><\/p>\n

LEXINGTON, OH (July 5, 2025) \u2013 The PFC Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio delivered a scorching doubleheader weekend as the USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire supported the NTT INDYCAR Series at the iconic facility. Exclusive Autosport\u2019s USF Pro 2000 trio of Mac Clark, Joey Brienza, and Carson Etter faced the 2.258-mile, 13-turn technical challenge with determination and a few unexpected hurdles. Clark continued his run of racking up podium finishes to keep him in the championship hunt, while Brienza had some of the best qualifying and finishes of the season. Etter sustained a minor wrist injury in testing, but that didn\u2019t stop him from giving a strong qualifying and race performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnother solid weekend for our team on the USF Pro 2000 side,\u201d said Michael Duncalfe, Co-Owner and CEO. \u201cMac did a fantastic job bringing home another podium. Joey and Carson had their strongest weekends thus far. The Pro2000 program is getting stronger and stronger each weekend and we are looking forward to the Streets of Toronto.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After two days of testing, practice, and qualifying, the drivers took to the track on Saturday morning for Race 1 of the weekend. Canadian Mac Clark started fourth and showed a strong pace early, but a mid-race incident dropped him down the order. He clawed his way back to P10, salvaging valuable points in the championship chase. Colorado\u2019s Joey Brienza qualified ninth and executed a clean, consistent drive to finish P7, marking one of his strongest performances of the season. Californian native Carson Etter, despite nursing a wrist injury sustained during Thursday\u2019s test session, gritted through the pain to start 12th; however, early in the race, he would go off, which would drop him to the tail of the field. He fought hard and regrouped to get a 13th-place finish, a commendable effort under the circumstances.<\/p>\n

Saturday afternoon brought out the heat and the final event of the weekend for USF Pro 2000. Clark had one of his, now-trademark, monster starts that moved himself from sixth to third with a bold move into Turn 1. He held position under pressure and secured another podium finish, his ninth podium of the season. He now sits third in the championship standings, just eight points out of second. Unfortunately, Brienza made contact on the opening lap of the race, which required him to pit for a new front wing, which put him a lap down, ultimately finishing 14th. Etter started 17th<\/sup>, pushed hard the entire race, and passed the most cars on track as he climbed to P12.<\/p>\n

With just four races remaining, the team now turns its attention to the Honda Indy Toronto (July 18\u201320) north of the border. Clark is looking for strong finishes on his home turf in Canada, while Brienza and Etter will focus on continuing to build momentum and produce solid finishes.<\/p>\n
